Bug Reports: bugs.ampache.org/open
MPD Support: Version 3.3.x -220.127.116.11 supports Music Player Daemon using the MPD database or over the file method and requires maintenance of the MPD database. From version 3.3.2 the file method is not longer used by Ampache. The local MPD database is no longer required simplifying the interaction between Ampache and MPD.
Short Description: Ampache is a Web-based Audio file manager. It allows you to view, edit, and play your audio files via HTTP/HTTPQ/Mpd/Flash. It has support for downsampling transcoding, communal democratic playlists, artist, and album views, album art, random play, song play tracking, user themes, and remote catalogs using XML-RPC.
Supported Functionality: Ampache can Add/Delete/Clear playlists. Skip/Delete playlist items, Turn Random/Repeat on/off and Increase/Decrease the volume. Ampache can manage multiple MPD instances.
