This client looks and feels like an iPod Color (white or black). The menu system is emulated to the best of my knowledge (I don't own an iPod) and the display while playing matches that of the iPod "Now Playing" screen.
MPoD is not affilated with Apple computing in any way. All images regarding the iPod and the layout of the iPod menu system is owned by Apple Computing.
Released the current source code to SF.net if you want to check it out: http://www.sf.net/projects/mpod Feel free to post comments/suggestions/complaints/hate mail ;P
Gave it a go in Windows and found that the screen flashes due to the repaint... Going to have to either find a way to fix that or just forget it being Win32 compatible.
Menus are now traversable (as seen in the latest screenshot). Mouse wheel up/down moves the menu selector up/down.
Player now reads from the MPD daemon and has some parts of the theming engine completed. Menus don't work and adding songs to the current playlist hasn't been implimented yet.
Changed from the iPod Nano look to the regular full size iPod.
Currently under heavy development, 0.1pre-alpha and whatever tags you can think to add to it meaning its not even functional yet. Pretty much all I've got is the window....
