• Description: PiMPD is a mpd client written in C as a plugin for pidgin.

Using it you can control your mpd directly from your conversation window and spam your partner with your current track. It even supports an automatic away-update. You can control local or external MPDs.

Supported commands:
/mpd <command>
“no argument - print current track”
“play - Starts playback”
“stop - stop playback”
“toggle - toggle play / pause”
“next - next song in playlist”
“prev - previous song in playlist”
“local - print current track locally”
“vol - print current volume level locally”
“vol <volume> - set current volume to the given parameter”
“vol+ <volume> - raises the volume by the given parameter\n”
“vol- <volume> - lowers the volume by the given parameter”
“away - activate/disable automatic away update”
