Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions from some of the major music publishers mpdlyrics can no longer return lyrics through the LyricWiki API (where this application gets some or all of its lyrics).

This crappy thingy tries to fech the appropiate lyrics of current mpd song via w3m browser. It uses google "feeling lucky" feature, because here I get more accurate results than using a lyrics-dedicated website. If you're on GUI, bind it to a key and lauch it via urxvt --title "...mpdlyrics ;)" -e mpdlyrics, for instance. homepage Use it at your own risk, and modify it at your own taste.
