This dirty shell script fetches wikipedia article about current mpd artist and shows it vith w3m browser. If you're on GUI, bind it to a key and launch it by urxvt --title "...mpdwiki ;)" -e mpdwiki, for instance. Of course, you may want to edit the source to fit your needs. Please, consider giving some feedback.
