This doesn't work with Firefox on OS X. You can't select a shell script in "open with".

But you can make an App, that runs a shell script. I did this with Platypus. Apple's Automator should be able to do the same. Or XCode, but thats overkill ... 89.54.17.199

What about metadata? Edit

I had figured this method before I got to this page, however, one problem remains: Metadata is only displayed once the song plays. Is there a way to read all metadata added to the playlist at the time we 'add' it?
